Shipping policy
Shipping Times
- We ship Monday through Wednesday to make sure live animals don't sit in transit over the weekend.
- Orders containing live ants are generally shipped within 5–12 business days after payment is received.
- Accessories are shipped separately or together, depending on availability.
Shipping of Live Animals
- Ant colonies are packed safely and in an animal-welfare-compliant manner.
- In case of extreme temperatures (below 5 °C / 41 °F or above 30 °C / 86 °F), we reserve the right to postpone shipping – you will be notified in good time.
Shipping Notification & Tracking
- As soon as your package has been shipped, you will receive an email with the tracking number.
- Please also check your spam folder.
Notes on Accepting Delivery
- Please make sure that you or an authorized person can accept the package promptly – especially in the case of live animals.
- If there are any issues, please contact us within 24 hours of receipt by email at: antmeup.de@gmail.com
Live Arrival Guarantee for International UPS Express Shipments (EU)
For shipments to other EU countries via UPS Express, our live arrival guarantee only applies if one of the following conditions is met:
- The package is personally accepted on the scheduled delivery day, or
- a neighbor or other authorized person has been designated in advance to accept the shipment on your behalf that day.
If the package cannot be delivered on the scheduled day for these reasons, the live arrival guarantee lapses from the following day onward. This is because UPS Express had no influence over the failed delivery in this case – responsibility for accepting the package lies with the recipient.
