Test Tube Founding Nest

The test tube founding nest is specially designed for the safe and controlled founding of ant colonies.

The front section contains an integrated plaster chamber that serves as the nest area and, thanks to its structure, supports a natural microclimate. The rear section acts as a water reservoir, which can be refilled at any time through an opening, ensuring a long-term stable supply of moisture. A layer of sand provides additional stability and a natural environment within the system.

To protect the colony and keep it dark, a cover cap is included that fully darkens the test tube while also protecting it from outside disturbances.
